Bunnahabhain distillery is known for its so-called unpeated single malt whisky. However, a number of weeks a year, peated grain is used to distil peated Bunnahabhain.

Bunnahabhain itself markets this as Moíne, but this term is reserved for the distillery's own bottlings. Independent bottlers such as The Whisky Agency market peated Bunnahabhain under the name Heavily Peated Bunnahabhain.
