Tasting note

Nose

Curry and Lapsang Souchon mingle with smouldering firewood, with old leather, then cherry jelly and blackcurrant syrup take over.

Taste

On the tongue, spicy with black pepper, a damp whisky warehouse with sweaty oak, then dark chocolate takes over.
 

Finish

In the aftertaste, the tongue is held by the spices and currants and sultanas. But even this is so wonderfully balanced.
