Glenfarclas 1983 - 2018 #28 The Family Casks

The Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains single cask bottlings of different vintages since the early 1950s. For each vintage, only one cask was chosen as the best of that year. To continue offering the full series, there have been several releases. These vintage whiskies are bottled at cask strength, with natural colour and no cold filtration. This vintage 1983 cask no. 28 is outstanding in quality.

Tasting note

Nose

Full-bodied aromas of sherry, dried fruit and nuts.

Taste

Soft and round with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and sultanas.

Finish

Warm and long-lasting, with hints of spiciness and oak.
