Tasting note

Nose

The taste buds are immediately awakened by the alcohol content present on the nose. Full rich aroma with hints of orchard fruit that has been hanging on the tree for a while too long. Ripe and slightly fair. Subtle hints of vanilla and wood tones unify it.

Taste

Full-bodied firm flavour. The main notes are oak and the firm alcohol, but there is much more to discover in this whisky. Spices, fruit and honey are also tasted. Some add some water to take the edge off, for others this firm character is what they love about this dram.

Finish

Full, round and mildly sweet slowly extinguish on the palate.

Overall impression

There is no better value for money on the market at the moment.
