Strathmill 8 years 2015 - 2023

This latest bottling from the Exploration Series has undergone maturation in small madeira casks. This creates a rich flavour and plenty of character.

Tasting note

Nose

Deep madeira notes, with a rich mix of subtle tannins and hints of oak.

Taste

An abunance of madeira influences, with notes of juicy figs soaked in syrup and enhanced by the sweetness of grape skin and a hint of liqueur.

Finish

A lush and long-lasting finish, in which the full-bodied fruitiness continues to dominate, supported by subtle hints of oak that slowly fade.
