Nc'Nean Quiet Rebels - Annabel
Introducing Nc'neans first seasonal release from their new series of whiskies, Quiet Rebels.
This series is all about the people who make Nc’nean what it is, about their small team of eco-conscious drinks fanatics on a mission to bring together a new generation of Scotch drinkers.
They might be small, but their job is mighty, to pioneer sustainable production whilst creating innovative and delicious spirits.
Nc'Nean Distillery
Nc'Nean Distillery is located on the west coast of Scotland, on the picturesque Drimnin Estate on the Sound of Mull. Founded in 2017 by Annabel Thomas, Nc'Nean has quickly distinguished itself through its commitment to sustainability and innovation in whisky production.
A unique feature of Nc'Nean is its use of organic barley and renewable energy sources. The distillery is completely carbon-neutral, using solar power and biomass to heat the stills. Nc'Nean produces a smooth and fruity single malt whisky, known for its light and delicate flavour profiles with notes of citrus, apple, spice and a hint of vanilla.
The whisky is mainly matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and wine casks, ensuring a balanced and complex taste experience. Nc'Nean is also innovative in its packaging, with bottles made from recycled glass. The combination of eco-friendly practices, high-quality ingredients and modern techniques makes Nc'Nean a respected and promising name in the world of Scotch whisky.
