Isle of Raasay Scottish Dùn Cana - Sherry Quarter Cask Release

We introduce Dùn Cana - Sherry Quarter Cask Release, a new whisky that carries with it the power of the mighty volcanic mountain of Raasay. 66 million years in the making, the Isle of Raasay distillery is delighted to introduce this new release to its single malt range.

This release will be an annual release with each edition offering slight differences in barrel composition or age. Limited in number and available worldwide. For this first edition only 14,000 bottles worldwide. 52% alcohol, natural colour and non-chill filtered.

Sherry Quarter Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Peated and unpeated spirit, first matured in the strong foundations of American rye casks with a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. This whisky exudes peppery spices, dried sultanas and notes of vanilla with an aftertaste of lingering salty chocolate and a slight hint of aromatic wood smoke.
