The latest addition to Signatory Vintage's Small Batch range is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2009 and matured in a combination of first and second fill Oloroso sherry butts. Referred to as "Speyside (M)", this bottling has an unmistakable sherry-inspired character with a silky smooth texture and warm, deep flavours. With a maturity you taste from the first sip, this is an expression that will definitely appeal to lovers of classic Speyside style with sherry cask maturation.

Tasting note

Nose

Dried plums, raisins and sultanas with hints of walnut, cedar and a touch of leather. A warm, inviting bouquet with a solid sherry foundation.

Palate

Rich and velvety. Notes of dark chocolate, gingerbread, orange peel and subtle wood spices. All well balanced with a creamy mouthfeel.

Finish

Long and warming. Toffee, nuts and a gentle mocha note linger delightfully.
