Tormore Distillery

Tormore Distillery is located in the picturesque Speyside region of Scotland, near the village of Grantown-on-Spey. Founded in 1958, Tormore is one of the younger distilleries in the region, but it has quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality whiskies. The distillery was designed by renowned architect Sir Albert Richardson, resulting in a striking and elegant building that stands out in the landscape.

A unique feature of Tormore is the use of water from the nearby Achvochkie Burn, which contributes to the purity and quality of their whiskies. Tormore whiskies are known for their fruity and floral flavour profiles, with notes of apple, pear, honey and subtle spices.

The whiskies are mainly matured in ex-bourbon casks, which ensures a balanced and refined flavour. Tormore produces single malts as well as whiskies used in high-end blends, such as Ballantine's.
