This single cask bottling is exclusive to the Dutch market. It is a beautiful jewel of a whisky, as we would expect from Kavalan.

Cask number B150723030A

This bourbon cask was selected - in consultation with the Master Blender at Kavalan - especially for the Dutch market. The whisky matured for 8 years - under tropical conditions - in this cask and was then bottled at a cask strength of 51.6%. A total of 161 bottles were bottled, with the whisky naturally retaining its natural color and no cold filtration.

Purity at its finest

Taiwanese Kavalan's whiskies are known for the creamy taste they bring. One of the reasons for this is the water used, which comes from the pure springs of the distillery's surrounding mountains. A perfect base for this delicious whisky.

Fruity character

Taiwan has a subtropical climate, where heat and high humidity are accompanied by winds from the sea and mountains. This creates a character of tropical fruits in addition to the characteristics of the bourbon barrel, with mainly notes of vanilla and coconut.
