The Feuerheerd's Colheita 2000 is a beautifully matured single-vintage Tawny Port with more than two decades of cask ageing. It combines the concentration of a warm vintage with the refinement that only long oak ageing can provide. Rich, complex, and yet remarkably elegant – a Colheita of depth and composure.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber to mahogany with copper reflections.

Aroma

Intense and layered aromas of walnut, hazelnut, and almond, complemented by raisin, dried fig, caramel, orange peel, and a hint of spice.

Taste

Silky and concentrated with flavours of toffee, nuts, and dried fruit. The sweetness is beautifully integrated and supported by fresh acidity that brings balance and refinement.

Finish

Long and harmonious, with lingering nutty, spicy, and lightly caramel notes.

Port & Food

Excellent with nut-based desserts, high-cocoa dark chocolate, crème brûlée, aged cheeses, or enjoyed on its own as a contemplative after-dinner wine.
