Giboin Napoléon Réserve de L'Hermitage – Borderies Cognac

The Borderies is the smallest but arguably most enchanting cru in Cognac, known for its floral elegance, rounded body and soft, creamy mouthfeel. Cognacs from this region stand out with notes of violets, dried flowers and a pastry-like richness. Giboin, a family-run house spanning seven generations, crafts this Napoléon Réserve de L’Hermitage as a tribute to the delicate beauty of the Borderies.

Aged for many years in oak, this Cognac strikes a perfect balance between fruit, florals and gentle spice. A spirit of poise and depth, made for slow appreciation.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Delightfully floral with notes of violets, acacia honey and dried fruits. Subtle hints of baking spice, almond and a trace of tobacco.

Palate

Silky and rounded with layers of ripe apricot, vanilla, walnuts and a touch of orange peel. Elegantly spiced with warm oak influence.

Finish

Long and refined with lingering floral notes, complemented by soft hints of cocoa and nutmeg.
