Tasting Notes:

Aultmore cask strength is always a whisky that you have to sit down for. This is no simple Speyside distillery. This is one with character. Sometimes a gentle character, but this Aultmore matured on an Octave has a wonderfully expressive character. Call it in a positive way a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Nose: Elegant start with some green notes, but that quickly turns into more spiciness. What a power nose. Delicious toffee, coffee and caramelized sugar.

Taste: Wonderfully robust at cask strength. Salted caramel, balsamic and coffee beans dipped in chocolate.

Finish: The taste of praline bonbons appears to linger for a long time in the mouth.

This Aultmore doesn't need water. Just enjoy it at 52.5% ABV.
