Don Papa Sherry Cask Finish is a special edition that blends the tropical sweetness of classic Don Papa with the depth and richness of European sherry casks. After its initial aging in American oak, the rum undergoes an 18-month finish in four types of sherry casks: Fino, Pedro Ximénez, Cream and Palo Cortado. The result is a luxurious, layered rum full of fruity, spicy and nutty notes, where tropical charm meets sherry-aged sophistication.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Lush and complex with aromas of dried figs, raisins, orange peel and red grapes. Deeper notes reveal marzipan, walnuts and subtle hints of leather and tobacco.

Palate

Full and smooth with flavours of dates, plums and stewed apples, followed by roasted nuts, dark chocolate and a touch of sweet spice. The sherry finish adds elegance and structure, along with a gentle wine-like freshness.

Finish

Long and rounded with lingering notes of raisins, oak and a soft, almost creamy finish where sherry and tropical elements blend in harmony.
