In 2007, Frank Ward, a member of the family that owned the Mount Gay distillery for over 100 years, began producing Mount Gilboa, triple distilling in McMillan pot stills and ageing in ex-Bourbon casks.

Velier bought these barrels after the distillery was sold by the Ward family in 2014.

This edition is a blend of 6 casks, fully matured in the tropics.

Pure single rum = 100% discontinued distillation.
