Bobby’s Gin is a Dutch dry gin with a clear Indonesian twist. It was inspired by the family history of Sebastiaan van Bokkel and his grandfather Bobby, who used Indonesian herbs and spices to give his genever more character. The result is a highly aromatic gin where classic juniper meets botanicals such as lemongrass, clove, coriander, cinnamon and cubeb pepper. Fresh, spicy and distinctive, yet still beautifully balanced.

Tonic pairing

Pair Bobby’s Gin with a premium Indian tonic. Garnish with orange and a few cloves to bring out the warming spices and bright citrus. Highly recommended for anyone who likes their Gin & Tonic a little spicier and more exciting.

Nose

Fresh and spicy with clear juniper, lemongrass and citrus zest. Then warming spices appear, with clove, cinnamon and a light peppery note immediately showing the Indonesian influence.

Palate

Dry and aromatic with juniper at the core, clearly supported by lemongrass, coriander and warming spice. Cubeb pepper adds a fine prickle, while cinnamon and clove bring depth. Powerful and lively without losing balance.
