Chartreuse Verte

Chartreuse Verte (Green Chartreuse) is an iconic French liqueur known for its vibrant green colour and intense, spicy flavour. It is one of the few liqueurs produced exclusively with natural ingredients and owes its colour to the plants and herbs it contains. Chartreuse Verte has been made for centuries by Carthusian monks at the monastery of La Grande Chartreuse in the French Alps.

Chartreuse Verte is made from a secret blend of 130 different plants, flowers and herbs. This recipe has been strictly guarded for more than 400 years, and only two Carthusian monks know the full list of ingredients and the exact production process.
