SKYY is an American vodka brand founded in San Francisco in 1992. Its creator, inventor and entrepreneur Maurice Kanbar, set out to develop a vodka with an exceptionally pure and smooth character. To achieve this, he chose a production process involving quadruple distillation and triple filtration. From its beginnings as a small Californian company, SKYY quickly developed into an international success and later became part of the Italian Campari Group.

The connection with San Francisco remains central to the identity of SKYY. It is reflected not only in the distinctive blue bottle, inspired by the sky above the city and the Pacific Ocean, but also in the composition of the vodka. SKYY is made from American grain and water enhanced with minerals, including minerals sourced from the San Francisco Bay Area.
