Firm nose with plenty of character. Full-bodied but balanced with clear notes of currants and coffee. Classic sherry nose that comes in firmly.

Taste

Bittersweet is the first term that comes to mind. Full, oily, meaty, characterful and truly Glenrothes. 

Finish

This is how we like it, an aftertaste that is wonderfully full and spicy, leaving a little sweetness on the tongue.

Overall impression

Surely the 100 Proof Edition series is an impressive one for its price!
