Adelphi is renowned for its selection of expressive single casks, and this Breath of the Highlands showcases that expertise beautifully. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022, this 12-year-old Highland malt exemplifies balance, finesse and a touch of rugged charm. Bottled at a robust 55.2% without chill-filtration or added colour, this whisky proudly reflects its pure origins. The distillery remains undisclosed, but lovers of classic Highland malts will certainly appreciate the familiar style.

Adelphi Distillery Limited
Adelphi Distillery Limited is an independent bottler of mainly Scotch Single Malt whiskies, known for its high quality and limited editions. Besides Scotch whisky, they sometimes make forays into other whisky countries, but rum and armagnac can also be found in Adelphi Distillery Limited's portfolio. The company has a rich history dating back to the 19th century and is today a respected name in the whisky world.
History and Origins
- Establishment: The original Adelphi Distillery was founded in 1826 in the Gorbals, a district in Glasgow, Scotland. The distillery produced a wide range of whiskies, both single malts and grain whiskies.
- Closure and revival: The original distillery closed in the early 20th century. In the 1990s, the Adelphi name was revived by Jamie Walker, a descendant of the original owners. Since then, Adelphi has focused on bottling high-quality, rare spirits.
