After maturing in traditional OAK CASKS for a number of years our Malt Master transfers the whisky into SHERRY CASKS for its final years of maturation.

Maturing in two different woods delivers a rich whisky - spicy and tempting flavours of plum and sherry with hints of wedding cake.

Glenfiddich Distillery

Glenfiddich Distillery is located in Dufftown, in Scotland's iconic Speyside region. Founded in 1887 by William Grant, Glenfiddich is one of the few distilleries that has remained in family ownership since its inception. The distillery is located on the banks of the River Fiddich, whose name means "Valley of the Deer", symbolising its rich natural environment.

A unique feature of Glenfiddich is the use of spring water from the Robbie Dhu springs, which contributes to the purity and character of their whiskies. Glenfiddich is known for its innovative approach and was one of the first distilleries to export their single malt whisky worldwide.

Glenfiddich whiskies are known for their elegant and accessible flavour profiles, with notes of pear, apple and honey. The whiskies are matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, creating a rich and complex flavour.
