Heaven's Door Tennessee Bourbon

Heaven's Door Straight Rye is a Straight Rye Whiskey aged for 7 years in new American oak. The rye is finished for another six months in toasted oak cigar barrels from the Vosges region in France. Cigar barrels have nothing to do with cigars, but what matters is the shape of the barrels. These are somewhat more elongated and thus have the shape of a cigar. This unique finish results in a more accessible rye whiskey with spicy notes and citrus. The whiskey has a subtle finish with a lingering spicy flavour of orange peel and coriander.
