West Cork Irish IPA Cask Matured

West Cork IPA cask matured is a blend of grain (75%) and malt (25%) whiskey aged in first fill bourbon casks and then finished in casks that had held Blacks of Kinsale IPA.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Mildly hoppy with sweet undertones of vanilla. Green fruit, grapefruit, mild citrus.

Palate: The palate offers plenty of malty hoppy flavours with some nutmeg and lingering spices in the mix.

Finish: A medium full bodied finish with a lot of emphasis on oak and spice.
