Baron de L is the prestige cuvée of Domaine de Ladoucette from Pouilly-Fumé in France’s Loire Valley. The estate’s history dates back to the late eighteenth century, when the Comte Lafond family acquired vineyards in the region. Over successive generations, De Ladoucette developed into one of the best-known names in Pouilly-Fumé. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette continued this family tradition and created Baron de L as the estate’s most exclusive expression.

Made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc, the wine is released only in vintages when the grapes meet the estate’s demanding quality standards. Baron de L is distinguished by its combination of freshness, power and refinement. Citrus, ripe white fruit, floral nuances and a characteristic mineral note are supported by a generous, layered structure. Although already aromatically expressive in its youth, the wine also possesses excellent ageing potential. Baron de L therefore ranks among the most prestigious and distinctive white wines of Pouilly-Fumé.
