Oude Kaap Chenin Blanc 2024

Oude Kaap's wines originate in the beautiful Franschhoek valley with the steep mountains of Groot Drakenstijn in the background. Determination, perseverance, passion and innovation are the spearheads of Oude Kaap and this legacy still lives on in the new generation of winemakers. The best grapes from the region are selected for Oude Kaap's wines. Through intensive contact with the winemakers, Oude Kaap winemakers determine which plots are best suited, as well as a very strict selection of the grapes and which barrels are chosen for the wines in the Oude Kaap series. Oude Kaap is part of DGB/Douglas Green Bellingham, one of South Africa's largest independent producers and distributors in wine.

This white wine is made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes.

Tasting note

Delicious slightly aromatic, juicy and invigoratingly fresh wine that excels for its fruity character. Both the nose and the finish reveal mainly aromas of melon, pineapple and citrus fruit.

Delicious thirst-quencher on the terrace and a friendly companion to a light lunch or meal. Also excellent with chicken, fish and salads.
