This distillery named Glenesk from 1980 to 1985. Before that, this distillery's whisky was known as Hillside. 

Looking further back in time, this distillery produced both grain and malt whisky. 

Official bottlings of this distillery can be counted on one hand, but bottlings from independent bottlers are also scarce.

In 1985, the doors of this distillery closed and currently only a malting plant operates at this location.

This bottling comes from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society and has an age of 25 years. Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2000.
