Further down the nose, a slightly fruity note of dried figs and sultanas unfolds, revealing the influence of the sherry casks and giving the whisky an elegant depth.

Taste

The palate is full and powerful, with an immediate smoky onset. The peat smoke is nicely complemented by a subtle sweetness of honey and toffee, which comes from the bourbon maturation.
