The Yamazaki 12 years is Suntory's flagship when it comes to Single Malt Whisky. Yamazaki was the first malt whisky distillery and thus also the oldest malt distillery in Japan. In 1984, this whisky was first launched the this version is the yellow packaging is the penultimate version. The Yamazaki 12 years is a delicious Single Malt Whisky with a real cult status. Deliciously refined and a true classic.

Tasting note

Nose

Good body with a tasty nutty aroma, floral character and delicious tropical fruit.

Taste

Supple and soft with a mild sweetness and some winter spice. Clear citrus notes, but definitely the tropical fruit.

Finish

Medium long with a lovely spiciness.
