Elegant and precise with flavours of red fruit, fine spices, and a subtle mineral touch. Fresh, vibrant acidity and refined, well-integrated tannins create tension and balance throughout.

Producer

Cantina Merano is a quality-driven cooperative winery in South Tyrol, renowned for its precise and elegant wines. Thanks to high-altitude vineyards, a cool climate, and careful cellar work, the wines show freshness, structure, and a clear alpine character. The “Zeno” Riserva is part of their top selection and demonstrates how refined Alto Adige Pinot Noir can be.

Kellerei Meran

Kellerei Meran is a wine cooperative from South Tyrol in northern Italy. The winery was created through the union of two historic cooperatives from the Merano area. By joining forces, generations of knowledge, varied vineyards and a strong local winemaking tradition were brought together under one name. An extensive renovation of the winery later provided a modern foundation without weakening its close connection to the member growers.

The cooperative unites approximately 350 winegrowers, who jointly cultivate around 260 hectares of vineyards. Their often small family-owned parcels are spread across the Merano area and the lower reaches of the Vinschgau Valley. Around Merano, the landscape has a sunny, almost Mediterranean atmosphere, while the higher vineyards further west display a distinctly Alpine character. Elevations range from approximately 300 to 900 metres, creating considerable differences in temperature, soil and ripening conditions. Kellerei Meran brings this diversity together in wines that clearly reflect the mountainous landscape of western South Tyrol.
