Octomore 16.2, released alongside 16.1, continues the story of Bruichladdich’s iconic Octomore range. While 16.1 matured entirely in first fill bourbon casks, 16.2 explores the depth and complexity achieved through European oak maturation, including wine and sherry casks. The result is a bold yet balanced Islay single malt, still delivering the extreme peat intensity of 101.4 PPM, but layered with refined cask-driven character.
