Tasting Notes

Nose

Intense and lively with aromas of roasted hazelnuts, raisins, orange peel and a touch of leather. Hints of apple syrup and subtle salty Amontillado undertones follow.

Palate

Bold and full-flavoured. Dried fruits, spiced cake, nut paste and a whisper of balsamic richness. The octave cask delivers concentrated sherry character without overwhelming.

Finish

Medium to long with notes of walnuts, spicy oak and a subtle dry, wine-like edge.

Dailuaine Distillery
