Dailuaine Distillery
Dailuaine Distillery is located in the Speyside region, near the village of Carron in Moray. Founded in 1852 by William Mackenzie, Dailuaine has a rich history in whisky production and is known for its high-quality single malts. The distillery is picturesquely located at the foot of Mount Ben Rinnes, which provides a constant source of pure water.
A unique feature of Dailuaine is the use of worm tubs, a traditional cooling system that contributes to the full and complex flavour profile of their whiskies. Dailuaine whiskies are known for their robust and full-bodied character, with rich notes of malt, dried fruit, honey and a subtle spiciness. The distillery matures its whiskies mainly in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, making for a deep and complex taste experience.
Dailuaine mainly produces whisky for blends, but their single malts are also loved by connoisseurs for their unique character and depth. The combination of a beautiful location, traditional techniques and high-quality production makes Dailuaine a respected name among whisky connoisseurs worldwide.
