Dailuaine Bourbon Cask Finish

Dailuaine is een distilleerderij die vaak in blends wordt gebruikt, maar in deze onafhankelijke botteling van Murray McDavid schittert hij als single malt. Deze whisky heeft een rijping ondergaan in traditionele vaten en heeft een verfijnde finish gekregen in bourbonvaten. Tasting note

Nose

Fresh aromas of vanilla, honey and ripe pears, combined with subtle hints of citrus and toasted coconut. A hint of oak adds a slight spiciness.

Taste

Full-bodied and smooth with notes of caramel, toffee and crème brûlée. Ripe apple and peach provide fruity freshness, while a subtle hint of cinnamon and white pepper adds depth.

Finish

Long and silky with lingering notes of vanilla, light oak and a hint of honey. A subtle touch of spice lingers, providing a warm and balanced finish.

Dailuaine Distillery

Dailuaine Distillery is located in the Speyside region, near the village of Carron in Moray. Founded in 1852 by William Mackenzie, Dailuaine has a rich history in whisky production and is known for its high-quality single malts. The distillery is picturesquely located at the foot of Mount Ben Rinnes, which provides a constant source of pure water.
