This peated malt whisky has an underlying fruity character that is carefully created by the crystal clear wort, long cool fermentation with both brewers and distilling yeast. Followed by a slow and gentle distillation before filling it in the best Peated Pedro Ximénez casks we can source.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich and fruity with the soft smokiness from a summer campfire. The smoke is beautifully rounded and fully integrated in the richness of the PX cask. Married into the smokiness there is beautiful fruitiness of citrus with raisins and plums and some hints of licorice and herbs.

Taste: Gentle smoke combined with chocolate and orange zest. This is followed by some herbal flavours that end with a hint of grassiness.

Finish: Long and luscious with dark chocolate ending in subtle smokiness.
