Nose: Highland honey initially with a touch of spice giving way to blackcurrant jelly and cocoa.

Palat: The Port heritage is immediately apparent with red berries and juicy raisins balanced by a mellow, barley style.

Finish: Lingers long with allspice, chocolate fudge and gently toasted oak.

Perfect pairing: Stilton cheese.
