Tasting Note

Nose

The nose is intense and refined, offering aromas of black cherry, blue plum, and violets. Beneath that lie notes of vanilla, tobacco, graphite, and hints of herbs such as bay leaf and black pepper.

Palate

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with a silky texture and vibrant acidity. Dark fruit, dark chocolate, mocha, and a touch of balsamic add complexity. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated, giving the wine impressive balance.

About Bodegas LAN

Founded in 1972, Bodegas LAN takes its name from the three provinces that make up Rioja: Logroño (La Rioja), Álava, and Navarra. The estate has established itself as a pioneer in the region, known for its use of hybrid oak barrels and commitment to sustainable viticulture. The A Mano Edición Limitada is crafted from the best Tempranillo grapes (with a small amount of Mazuelo) from old vines in Rioja Alta. Everything is done by hand: harvesting, selection, and vinification. After fermentation, the wine is aged in new French and Central European oak, followed by additional bottle aging. The result is a powerful yet elegant wine with a bold identity – a limited edition with grand character.
